Home Owner's

As of 4:00 last night Bernd and I are home owner’s! We just bought a 1,300 square foot townhouse in West Jordan. We’re really excited. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a nice family room and a decent kitchen. The sellers live in California so they rented it out to a single mom and her two kids. They will be moving out on Friday and Saturday so hopefully we will get the keys Saturday afternoon.

I had this crazy dream last night that we showed up to our house and the renter’s hadn’t even started to move out yet. Plus the two little kids were sitting at the kitchen table crying because we were stealing their house. So needless to say I’m excited to get the keys and get into the new place hopefully with as little drama as possible.

We started packing our stuff last night. We have to be out of our apartment by April 16th. We have a few things to do at our new house before we can move in. We have a couple of holes or cracks to patch up and some painting to do. We’re also getting new carpet in the whole house. So we have a busy schedule. Oh, and Bernd has a garage door opener to install!
